Hello and welcome, friends! We will kick this off with a little background to our name…. “Sunshine after Rainy Days” is first a nod and a tribute to our wonderful time in the Emerald City, Seattle where everything it so green that it is an amazing shock to the eyes. Every day, my eyes would soak in the beauty. We were fortunate enough to live on a little island on Lake Washington between Seattle and Bellevue. Even on the island, there were hiking trails and magical trees lining the roads like a canopy. A view of the “mountain” was always a treat. Each and every day that Mt. Ranier made an appearance, we knew it was going to be a wonderful day. During our time there, we learned to appreciate every sunbeam.
